Dr Robin Kohler

Dr Robin Kohler trained as a homeopathic doctor at the University of Johannesburg and began specialising in Functional Medicine early in his career. He was drawn to the systems-based, investigative approach of Functional Medicine, which looks beyond managing symptoms to understanding the underlying factors that may be contributing to a patient’s health.

Robin is passionate about working collaboratively with his patients, viewing them as active participants and co-creators in their own health journey. His approach focuses on understanding the individual as a whole and developing personalised strategies to support long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr Robin Kohler divides his time between our Hermanus and Bryanston practices, with Hermanus now serving as his primary base. He continues to travel to Bryanston regularly to see his Johannesburg patients, allowing him to maintain the long-standing relationships he has built there over many years.
